- Salary: 19,100 to 19,500 DOE
SLS are looking to recruit 3 Permanent production operatives for our Food Manufacturing Client
Please note due to location candidates must have own transport. There are no public transport links
Summary To work within the production areas producing products in line with the schedule, and as instructed by the section team leader. To maintain section quality and KPIs (key performance Indicators) at all times.
Duties and responsibilities
Include the following; other duties may be assigned, the details below are not exhaustive.
- To work as instructed by the team leader in the most efficient manner.
- To undertake all duties in the safest possible way and in line with the company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- To report problems or potential problems to the section team leader immediately.
- To take on responsibility of the product quality at all times whilst working in the area.
- To know and understand all section KPIs and assist in reaching these targets.
- To abide by the company rules at all times and follow the requirements as laid out in the company hand book.
- To maintain an acceptable level of Personal and company Health and Hygiene.
- To maintain a clean and tidy work area and assist in the end of shift housekeeping activities.
- To follow company dress code policies at all times
- Attend training as required to develop relevant knowledge and skills throughout all production areas
- Carryout other duties within the production areas that may be required from time to time.
Qualifications
To perform this role successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and ideally:
Hold a current Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Work a rotating shift pattern of 6am until 2pm and 2pm-10pm on a weekly turn around.
Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time.
