Logistics Assistant

Location Dover

Hours Monday to Friday 9 hour rotational shifts

Job Description

Main Purpose of Job

Plan and manage time-critical logistics solutions throughout Europe and Worldwide, operating within strict time constraints ensuring all schedules and deadlines are met.

This role focuses on the planning and monitoring of shipments

Responsible to (Manager/Post): Team Leader

Responsible for (Staff/Jobs): None

Key Job Responsibilities

• Shipment management through

Priority Freight’s bespoke transport

management system

• Provide clients with shipment progress

updates in line with standard operating

procedure

• Proactively identify and troubleshoot

logistics challenges to ensure a

seamless service

• Maintain excellent telecommunications as

per our standard operating procedure

• Support the wider operations team by

reporting vehicle availability

• KPI reporting where required
