Job Summary

To operate our high speed form fill production lines efficiently to maximise line output, product and packaging yields, whilst achieving and maintaining production & product quality targets (get it right first time)! To demonstrate effective leadership by motivating and developing all team members (Permanent & Agency staff).

Your performance will directly affect the overall efficiency of the production function.

Main Duties

General

The operation of various equipment including but not limited to: Bin tippers, glazing equipment, inspection equipment, air extraction, case packaging and case sealers as per operating procedures. The supervision of line changeovers, wastage control and line feed setting & operation. The accurate completion of production related documentation in conjunction with the required production checks.  To minimise/prevent and record all types of line downtime – time wasters. To ensure that packed product complies with legal and customer requirements including the weight & measures regulations. To adhere to and implement Company decisions, rules, regulations and procedures, whilst ensuring that all team members do the same. Responsibility for health and safety, ensuring that work is carried out safely, including working area safety (tidiness/cleanliness) ‘clean as you go’.

Line Specific

The set up and operation of case packers, bagging machines, metal detectors, elevators, multi-head weighers, case metal detectors, check-weighers, individual line scales, bin tippers, wrapping machine, labeller, ink jet coders, thermal printers and any other relevant equipment.

Night Shift – 21:30 – 06:00 (inc 30 mins contractual overtime)
